IMA members are invited to attend the in-person GWC board meeting and Learning Sessions including a presentation by Claudia Castillo, 2024 Employment Law Update, and a 1-hour best practice discussion for chapter leaders.

Join us and learn about important changes to Federal and California Employment laws over the last year. We will discuss changes for protected employee speech/activity under the National Labor Relations Act, new leave laws in California, and how to conduct proper background checks to avoid pitfalls related to the California Fair Chance Act and local ordinances, among other new developments. Bring your questions and get ready for an interactive discussion.
