Scott enjoys helping build businesses and has spent most of his career in planning, accounting and financial management, business development and supply chain roles. Scott is currently VP Finance and Controller for Calculated Industries (CI), a software and hardware tool supplier for contractors. He has been with CI for 13 years and loves helping contribute to CI's revenue growth and profitability.
With the IMA, Scott is active with the Reno Area Chapter, assists with planning and executing the annual REST management and accounting conference in Reno, as well as volunteering with the Golden West Council.

Away from the business, Scott loves to explore the Sierra Nevada Mountains and travel. Scott and his wife Gina are the proud parents of three children, along with two grandchildren.

Patricia J. Mayer (Patt) is an active CPA and a CMA, and former CEO of Patricia J. Mayer & Associates, a staffing company for financial candidates. Prior to that, she was the VP Finance, Retail division, Customer Segments, of Charles Schwab & Co., the VP Finance for Macromedia Inc., and the CFO of the YMCA of San Francisco.

Patt is past president of the East Bay chapter of the California Society of CPAs, past president of San Francisco chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI), current president of the Diablo Valley chapter of Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and an active member of the planning committee of REST.

LuAnn Klann is a finance executive with extensive and diverse experience in a variety of industries. Her expertise includes a consistent record of improving financial results through innovative business processes and her significant strengths include evaluating business processes and initiating change management to improve financial results and performance.

Ms. Klann’s teaching strength lies mainly in being able to perceive student’s/target’s learning style and adapting teaching style to meet them. Crossed experience in corporate finance, LuAnn provides a unique blend rarely found in University Professors. Also included in her arsenal is forensic accounting experience which includes fraud detection in the fast food, restaurant, corporate finance, and other private industries.

Naomi is passionate about growth and change for the better. She brings and Executive MBA with emphases in Advanced Finance, Entrepreneurial Finance, US Business Law, Strategic leadership, Advanced Corporate Level Strategy and Business Communications. That combination and a direct communication style helps her navigate big challenges. She takes leadership and her fiduciary duty seriously but brings it all together with with humor and purpose. 

In the role of Communications Vice President she is hoping to help build more engagement and connection with the Golden West Council and strengthen ties with the chapters we serve.
